MESH

Mesh Networks has developed a distributed, fully meshed network architecture (also referred to as ad-hoc networks) that breaks through the limitations of cell-based
networks by bouncing RF signals between devices.

The Mesh Networks system optimizes bandwidth due to its ad-hoc nature and supports virtually any RF frequency and operate at speeds up to 250 MPH.

Advantages of a Mesh network:

  • peer to peer, devices can talk directly to each other without a base station or access point ad-hoc, no fixed network topology.

  • self forming, sometimes called self organizing, network nodes create a network amongst themselves.

  • multi hopping networks, devices that cannot communicate directly with each other can do so by relaying through others.

  • Mesh nodes have multiple communication links between each other.
